Student Government Association (SGA)

SGA is the primary liaison between students and the University administration. This body:

  • Advocates for student concerns and ideas

  • Promotes academic excellence

  • Oversees other student organizations

  • Encourages an open, collaborative campus atmosphere


American Medical Student Association (AMSA)

Founded in 2006, the IAU chapter of AMSA has over 200 active members. This organization:

  • Organizes healthcare events and awareness campaigns

  • Provides hands-on medical experience

  • Promotes continuous advancement in medical education


American Medical Women’s Association (AMWA)

AMWA brings together medical students and professionals passionate about:

  • Improving women’s health

  • Empowering and advancing women in the field of medicine


African Student Association (ASA)

ASA promotes cultural pride and awareness by:

  • Showcasing the rich heritage and traditions of Africa

  • Facilitating intercultural understanding and connection

  • Hosting events that celebrate African identity and community


Canadian Student Association (CSA)

CSA supports Canadian students at IUOB-SOM and shares Canadian culture by:

  • Celebrating holidays like Canada Day and Thanksgiving

  • Hosting community service events

  • Encouraging cultural exchange and collaboration among students


Indian Student Association (ISA)

ISA is a vibrant student-led group celebrating India’s rich heritage. The association:

  • Hosts cultural festivals such as Diwali, Holi, and Independence Day

  • Shares music, dance, and cuisine from India

  • Educates others about Indian traditions and values


✝️ Christian Student Fellowship (CSF)

CSF is a faith-based community that:

  • Encourages spiritual, intellectual, and personal growth

  • Creates a welcoming space for Christian students

  • Shares the message and purpose of Jesus Christ through fellowship and activities
