Our step-by-step application guide will walk you through everything you need to begin your journey toward becoming a physician.


✅ Step 1: Do You Meet the Academic Prerequisites?

To be considered for the 4-Year MD Program, applicants must:

  • Complete a minimum of 90 credit hours of college-level coursework

  • Hold (or be in the process of completing) a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (strongly recommended)

Required Prerequisite Courses:

Course Description
General Biology with Lab Minimum 1 academic year
General Chemistry with Lab Minimum 1 academic year
Organic Chemistry with Lab Minimum 1 academic year
Physics with Lab Minimum 1 academic year
English 1 semester or more
Mathematics/Calculus/Statistics Recommended
Social Sciences or Humanities Recommended

Applicants missing any of the above prerequisites may ONLY be eligible for the Combined Premedical/MD Program (5-Year Pathway).

Step 3: When is the Application Deadline?

We accept applications year-round, but to ensure timely processing, please submit all documents before the suggested deadlines:

Step 4: What Documents Are Required?

To process your application, submit the following documents to the Office of Admissions:

Required for All Applicants

  • Two (2) Passport-sized Photos

  • Personal Statement

  • Two (2) Letters of Recommendation (minimum)

  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)

  • Official Transcripts from all institutions attended

  • MCAT Scores (recommended but not required)

  • Transcript Evaluation (for coursework completed outside the U.S.)

Additional for Premed Applicants

U.S. Applicants:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with strong GPA in science

  • SAT Scores (use College Board Code: 4375)

International Applicants:

  • CSEC Ordinary Level or equivalent (Math, Science, Biology, Chemistry, English + 1 Subject)

  • South African, Australian, or equivalent Matriculation Exams with strong science grades

  • IB Diploma or GCE A-Levels with strong science results

Submit TOEFL (min: 600 paper / 250 computer / 100 internet) — Code: 8625

Additional for Transfer Applicants
